Send us one Code of Practice. We check it clause by clause.
We compare it with the current DMPR guideline, check the numbering and the annexures, and send you a written list of what is missing or out of date. Free, with no obligation. If you want us to fix it, we quote you first.
Or attach it to an email to info@indunatrng.co.za
We reply the same working day.

The terms, explained.
Safety work comes with its own language. Here is what the most common terms mean.
- COPCode of Practice
- A mandatory document the mine prepares under the Mine Health and Safety Act, written to the DMPR guideline for a specific significant risk.
- DMPR guideline
- The Department of Mineral and Petroleum Resources guideline that sets out what each mandatory COP must contain, and in what order.
- Baseline risk assessment
- The mine-wide assessment of significant hazards and risks that every other risk assessment builds on. It is reviewed regularly.
- IBRAIssue-based risk assessment
- A risk assessment for a specific change, incident or concern, including critical issues from the baseline assessment.
- TBRATask-based risk assessment
- Identifies and controls the risks of one specific task before the work starts.
- Bowtie
- A diagram of a significant unwanted event, showing its causes, its consequences and the controls on each side.
- Golden controls
- The critical controls that must always be in place and working, checked through regular monitoring.
- STPStandard task procedure
- A step-by-step guide to doing a specific task safely and correctly.
Good questions, straight answers.
Do you write Codes of Practice for any mine?
Yes. We write to the DMPR guideline for the hazard, in each mine's own format and numbering, and attach every document the COP refers to. Our COPs have been accepted by the DMPR without instructions to revise.
Can you help the contractors working on our mine?
Yes. We compile contractor safety files to your own index and take contractors through ComplyWorks or your own onboarding system, so they arrive on site ready.
How long does a Code of Practice take?
It depends on the guideline, the site and how much information already exists. We agree a delivery date with you up front, before any work starts.
What does the free check include?
Send us a COP, risk assessment or procedure, or book a video call. We check it against the guideline and send you a written list of what is missing. If it needs fixing, we quote you first.
How do you charge?
You get a written, fixed quote per document or per project before any work starts, so you can get budget approval with no surprises. The first check is free.
Can you certify us for ISO 45001, 14001 or 9001?
No. Certification audits are done by an accredited certification body. We implement the system with you and do your internal audits, so you are ready when the certification body comes.
Do you only work in the Free State?
No. Our head office is in Welkom and we service clients nationwide.
